Iliana, who claims herself that she is busy in Telugu, did a movie in Tamil. As there was no further opportunities here, she declared herself that Tamil movies soar!, so she act only Telugu. There seems to be no job for her even in Telugu!

This jobless female is now spreading rumors that Rajini's Kusalen team approached her to act with Superstar, but she refused that offer.

Reason for the refusal is that Rajini is too old to pair with!!!

Review : Indiralogathil Na. Azhagappan

Things aren’t the same in filmdom and few personalities are expected to take a note of this. If Imsai Arasan was a good hit, there were good reasons to pinpoint it. But Indiralogathil Na. Azhagappan is like dashing our hopes for none of the aspects are worthy getting appreciated. Well, if you think you can watch the movie along with family, I am sorry its an imperfect entertainer and there are few scenes that isn’t suitable for children… Of course, there are some good messages conveyed through this film and it’s good on the part of director, but he fails to present it effectively. May be, I shouldn’t stay back in brining the truth that its Thota Tharana whom should be considered as the main hero for this film…. Getting through the synopsis, let me continue with positive and negative traits of the film…

Azhagappan (Vadivelu) is a jovial man performing stage plays along with his team members. His mother is worried that his futuristic life may be more similar to that of his ancestors who eloped when their wives were undergoing pregnancies…Caring for his well-being, his mother Menatchi Amma (Sumithra) calls on for the help of an astrologer to predict Azhagappan’s future course of life. She is pushed to the pits of shock when he tells her that his son would be happy with the second marriage for his first wife would be dead soon after entering into nuptials.

Azhagappan’s friends take him a beautifully sculpted statue of woman and ask him tie knot with the belief that his misfortunes would be evacuated. But then begins the problem for the statue is none other than one of the heavenly angels Rambai (Yamini Sharma) who turned into a statue since she gets cursed by Indiran (again played by Vadivelu) for disobeying his rule. Sooner this heavenly angel orders her servants to get Azhagappa to heaven. Getting into heavenly ambience, Vadivelu is given an order that he can be together with his friends and family members during day and after dusk he will be carried away to heaven… With things happening on, Azhagappan soon happens to meet both Indiran in Heaven and Yaman in Yamalogam. Encounters that takes place between both of them, hurdles bursting out of it and how does protagonist breaks the hassling aspects forms crux of the story…

A kind attention for those who would like to watch this movie is that there isn’t any need to watch from the first half.. You can get in even after interval for there is nothing you are going to miss there. Let it be songs, screenplay or script, its completely annoying to sit and watch it… Nothing to blame on the performances of all star casts, for they have done a decent job…

It’s a poor direction from Thambi Ramayya and he could have done things better. But some of his aspects in direction and dialogues gains attention. Say, the dialogues uttered by Yamaraja justifying himself is a reasonable one and the judgments given to various evil doers is something good. Getting on with music: I am not clear whether this flick has the background establishments of period genre of films…

Bottom-line : Flimsy flick

Well, I feel it’s being made with the establishment of modern period and I don’t know why much of the background scoring excluding Yamalogam and Indiralogam are being done with olden style of musical score and that’s same with songs… Shriya tripping her toes with Vadivelu for a song has a deviling effect on the audiences. Still don’t understand why she was offered to dance since the song hasn’t got any specialties to mention…

Man to be appreciated here is art director Thota Tharani who stuns the entire audiences with his breathtaking set decorations. They are marvelous presenting visual fiesta to the viewers and hats off to him. Even other technicians have done their best, be it Editor J. Harsha or cinematographer Gopinath, they have played significant role carrying entire film on their shoulder but all works goes in vain.

Vadivelu can be crowned for his bold attempt and nothing for his performance, but it’s the same old kind of stuff you see in him. Indiralogathil Na. Azhagappan is a winner taking in terms of technical aspects, but a great loser when it comes to narrative approach. Also I would like to ask producer Manickam Narayanan a question: How come he agreed to produce this film and congratulate for his bold attempt of doing it so.

Shreya Facing the issue of TN Govt. for her sexy dress

Shreya who is minting money from Tamil Nadu by appearing sexy on the road shows and movies, followed her costume even in a function which was participated by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Karunanidhi.

The issue was yesterday (28.01.2008) taken in the TN assembly by PMK's Velmurugan.

DMK men came in support of Shreya, as they felt she is do such greater things for the cause of Tamilians!

Velmurugan also mentioned the vulgarity shown in the Karunanidhi promoted Kalaingnar TV under the title "Maanaada Mayilaada"

Supporting the vulgarity of the show, minister Arcot Veerachamy claimed that the show has lots of viewers, forgetting that even a blue film will have lots of viewers. He forgets to ask himself why F-TV is being banned by the police in TN!!!

Little Review and Assignement of Vidya Balan

At the moment, Vidya Balan has only one assignment, Aziz Mirza's Kismat Connection. "And it's very different from every thing I've done so far. That's how I like it. I don't want to get repetitive so early in my career."

She played Ajay Devgan's supportive wife in the recently-released Halla Bol and feels proud of the work, no matter what its box-office outcome. "Whether it's the amnesiac wife in Salaam-e-Ishq, the schizophrenic wife in Bhool Bhulaiyaa or the fiercely supportive wife of a philandering star in Halla Bol, I'm equally proud and possessive of all my films, no matter how they perform at the box-office."

Vidya Balan who started her career with a Bengali film, is returning to her roots. "I feel I was Bengali in my last life. In fact, when Ritu-da offered me a Hindi film I shocked him by requesting him to do a Bengali film with me."

Though Vidya's film with Rituparno Ghosh opposite Akshay Kumar didn't work out, Vidya and Akshay have become a hit jodi. "Inshan Allah, if all goes well, Akshay and I will sign another film together this year. But my big kick in 2008 is the Bengali film. And it's with Gautam Haldar, the same director with whom I did my career's very first film Bhalo Theko in Bengali. I really wanted to do another Bengali film because that's where my acting career started. Even my first Hindi film Parineeta was very Bengali in ambience."

Vidya is excited about the return to her a cinema she loves dearly. "I play a character called Hashi. And Tanujaji is also in the film with me. I'm aware she has done loads of Bengali films in the past. And she's one of the actresses I truly admire. So I'm really excited about the film."

"My first release before even Parineeta was a Bengali film. It's like coming home for me. Kolkata is home for me. I sincerely wanted to do it. This is my way of saying thank you to the film industry. It welcomes me at a time when I had no place in the Hindi film industry. I've always been fascinated by the land of Ray. It was a dream to have done a role in a Bengali as my very first film." Even her character in Bhool Bhulaiyaa was eminently Bengali. "Yes and I worked so hard on the character…Awards nominations? I'd love to get the awards. I thought the kids would hate me after that frightening role. It did scare them. And I'm glad as I was meant to do that. Fortunately, they recall me by the breezy radio-jockey's character in Lage Raho Munnabhai."

Like I wanted to do another Bengali film. While I was trying it didn't happen. When I stopped trying it happened."

Famous Star couple daughter, Actress attempted suicide due to a failed relationship

Actress Saranya Bhagyaraj, daughter of the star couple Bhagyaraj and Poornima Bhagyaraj allegedly attempted suicide late Monday night, by consuming poison. She was later admitted to a private hospital in Adyar, where she is undergoing treatment.

The reason for this has been said to be due to a failed relationship. Sources add that, the 23-year-old actress had been mentally disturbed after her relationship with an NRI based in Australia broke up. It is also said that Saranya, was involved with the NRI for the past year.

Sharanya started her film career with the film Paarijatham opposite Prithiviraj which was directed by her director father Bhagyaraj.
