Bhumika Chawla:After a three-year-romance, actress Bhumika Chawla and yoga expert Bharat Thakur, will get married on October 25. The marriage will be solemnised at a Madh island bungalow, followed by a reception in the evening at the Sun and Sand hotel in Juhu.

Bhumika is currently riding the crest of popularity in Telugu cinema, and has taken over the top a position there from yesterday's leading actress Vijayshanti.She made a huge impact with her debut in 'Tere Naam' opposite Salman Khan. She was called the "Chunariya girl" after the popularity of one of the film's songs.She was recently commended for her performance in 'Gandhi My Father.' Thakur has been a prominent yoga teacher.Talking excitedly over the phone from Hyderabad, Bhumika confirmed, "Yes, it's true.. we met about three years ago at a party hosted by Salman Khan at the Vie Lounge. I can't say that I fell in love with him right away but yes, I think he's an absolute cuteheart.

"On being asked if her parents are okay with the marriage, she retorted, "Of course.. why shouldn't they be?" Bhumika, who started off as a child model, laughs on being teased about Thakur, "Come on, I am not exactly a yoga freak.. but I could become one."

As for her plans after marriage, Bhumika stated that she would continue to act in films. Among the films she has signed up recently include an unusual subject - featuring only two characters - to be directed by E Niwas.
