A few months ago there was a big hype created when Richard Gere kissed Shilpa openlt in public at an Aids Awareness event in New Delhi. If people are thinking that the incident's effect is over then be ready for a big shock. Shilpa was treated very harshly by a police officer at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai. A court in Alwar dist of Rajasthan issued a look-out notice for Shilpa at various airports. The notice said that the actress shouldn't be allowed to leave the country till the Richard Gere-Shilpa Shetty case was over.
Shilpa appealed to the Supreme Court against this order and got permission to travel abroad. Shilpa was leaving for Germany for West End musical Miss Bollywood when an immigration officer spoke very rudely to her. Her spokesperson Dale Bhagwagar said: The immigration authorities at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport just seemed to refuse to take note of this clearance of Shilpa's name by the Supreme Court. Shilpa had to call her lawyer and sort out thing with the officer. Shilpa was very much upset with the whole incident and said it was unfair to treat her like a criminal in her own country. Now Shilpa is planning to take action against the immigration authorities for what she termed as offensive behavior. Well I feel this matter should be stopped here and the KISS ka issue should not be given so much of importance. Come on guys just stop this now.
